What this covers
- How to connect an integration to ALK
- What to check when something is not syncing
- Common permission and security considerations
Before you start
- Make sure you have the right role or permissions in ALK and the third-party tool.
- Confirm which workspace or environment you are connecting (production vs sandbox).
Add an integration (high level)
- Go to Settings → Integrations (or the equivalent admin area).
- Choose the integration you want to connect.
- Authenticate with the third-party tool.
- Select the scope you want ALK to access (for example, specific accounts, folders, or channels).
- Save, then run a quick test sync (if available).
What to document for each integration
- Purpose: what problem it solves
- Owner: who maintains it
- Credentials: where the auth lives (do not paste secrets)
- Scope: what ALK can read or write
- Data mapping: what fields map to what
- Sync frequency and expected latency
